Buying Or Selling A Silicon Valley Home
Many first-time homebuyers believe they can do most, if not all, of what is needed to buy a home in Silicon Valley without the aid of a real estate agent. What most of those buyers overlook is that they are in direct competition with many other highly educated Silicon Valley home buyers. If they want to do better and to “win”, they need to know more and to work harder than their competition. Suppose you, the home buyer, are a busy full-time professional in a different field. In that case, you will not have as much knowledge, experience, or time, nor as many helpful connections as your competition, which is teaming with a top Silicon Valley real estate agent.
Probably, you know how to play baseball. Would you bet $1M that you could do better than a San Francisco Giants team player? Would you bet $1M that you and your friends could win a game against the San Francisco Giants? When you are competing against a top real estate team to buy or sell a home in Silicon Valley, you are making a bet very similar to that.
As a fully licensed and experienced real estate agent, I could work as an independent real estate agent at almost any real estate brokerage in Silicon Valley. I choose not to because a team of top real estate agents will nearly always win over a single person. I began as a buyer’s agent and quickly began buying homes for my clients at a rate of over two dozen per year which placed me in the top 2% of all agents, including team leaders.
